Needs Analysis

Because many of our top people have combat experience, when we receive an inquiry, we’re often familiar with the scenario where the weapon will be used.

Over the years, we’ve also increased our knowledge base through extensive interviews with troops who have returned from combat.  We want to know what needs weren’t met or what problems developed in the field.  Then we design equipment that will increase those troops’ effectiveness when they’re called on again.

This enables us to ask not only the right questions – and lots of them -- but also to ask additional questions and explore areas that may not have been considered originally.  Searching for those extra details is what leads to innovation, and it’s how we produce something the soldier in the field can take apart with minimum trouble and part count.

Part of our job at this stage is to listen, too.  Some clients come to us with a pre-conceived idea for a particular solution, but after listening to their ideas we have been able to make tweaks and suggestions that lead to an entirely different solution.  Ultimately, we utilize a more organic approach, rather than one that has titles for certain stages.  That’s how we make sure you get what you need to execute your missions and bring everyone home.

Operational needs and needs that arise in-theater are what drive us.  Our eyes are on the end user, not on a part our competitors may be producing.
